Wine and Chocolate Wine Trail Passport weekend

February 28 to March 2 from 12:00 to 5:00.

It is still February and time for more chocolate and wine. This weekend we will be particpating in the South Sound Wine Trail.


Get your passport to taste amazing wines and delicious chocolate treats at 6 of wineries on the South Sound Wine Trail. Each winery will be pouring some wonderful wines and tasting chocolate deliciousness. You will also have a $3 discount to use towards you bottled wine purchase at each of the wineries during your visit.


Passports can be purchased at any of the 6 participating locations on the wine trail. Passports are valid on the dates above only. We encourage you to spread your visits over multiple days so you can take your time and enjoy your visit at each winery.

Awards

Dateline: Rochester, New York - May, 2013. Winners again at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, The Medicine Creek Winery was awarded a Silver medal for the Cavalier Jack Sangiovese wine and a Silver medal for 2008 Syrah. FLIWC is the largest charitable wine competition in North America. All net proceeds benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times. Located in the heart of New York State's Finger Lakes wine country, this not-for-profit organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life-threatening challenges.



Dateline: Chicago, February 27, 2013. The Medicine Creek Winery desert wine, Fini, was awarded a silver medal in the Creativity For Embossed Label category at The Beverage Tasting Institue packaging competition. Our winemaker, Jim Myers, designed the label and worked with Larry Emery of Emery Graphic Systems to produce the label. This label will be appearing on our new release of desert wine.

San Francisco Wine Competition

Dateline: June 22, 2010. WE JUST HEARD!!! The San Francisco International Wine Competition, the largest and most influential international wine competition in America, has awarded our 2006 Stagecoach Red a silver medal and that our 2006 Cabernet Franc was awarded a bronze medal. 2006 is becoming a very a good year! Both wines are available in our tasting room.



Riverside International Wine Competition

Dateline: May, 2010. The Medicine Creek Winery was recently awarded two medals in the Riverside International Wine Competition. The 2006 Stagecoach Red received a Gold medal and the 2006 Syrah received a bronze medal. Both wines are still available at the winery, see the tasting room manager about getting a signed bottle by the winemaker for your collection.



Dateline: 2009. The Medicine Creek Winery tasting room was awarded the Lacey Rotary, Ron Rowe Community Improvement Thematic Interior Design & Entrepreneuruial Spirit award.
